Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field.
I'll meet you there. -Rumi
Friends, I have news!
For a couple of years now I have been collaborating with the wonderful food rescue nonprofit La Soupe. At the beginning of this year, I was asked to officially start an education wing! Although my work with In the Field has come to an end, the spirit of everything In the Field stands for is now happily embedded into the classes at La Soupe. I have never been so proud, honored, and excited as I am to work with this team.
Also, La Soupe has built a teaching kitchen at their new location in Walnut Hills! The Education team has been working on many new programs that will begin once possible (due to COVID-19).
I am overjoyed to have this incredible opportunity and look forward to all the classes to come!

Testimonials
"Kristen with her gentle spirit and tender heart helped me discover life deep within myself. After my daughter, Jordan died; I wasn't sure what life was about anymore. Kristen stood beside me in the kitchen. She filled me with love and mercy while we chopped vegetables, measured ingredients, washed dishes, and listened to each other.
Throughout the creation of many a meal, she created a space of love where I was able to unveil myself again. The creation of a meal is now a way of pouring myself into another. I am forever grateful to her and her healing spirit." - a loved volunteer and friend, April |
“Kristen may actually be the sweetest soul to have ever existed. There were many days where I showed up fifteen to twenty minutes early just so I could sit and drink some tea or coffee with Kristen because she was so gifted at putting my mind at ease. She helped me channel all my anxiety into the cooking. She was really gifted at making me slow down and pour myself into the art of it opposed to the act, if that makes any sense. I’m a better person today because of Kristen St. Clair.”
